BidwellIn celebration of National Volunteer Month and Earth Day, please join us for a morning of giving back at Bidwell Riverside Center.

Saturday, April 21
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1203 Hartford Ave, DSM

Weather permitting, we will be working outside to clean up the garden area and yard, but may also do some inside work like helping in the food pantry. We suggest dressing in layers and in something that’s okay to get a little dirty. It also suggested to bring gloves for yard work. Water and snacks will be provided.

More ways to get involved:

Gently-used items are needed for the clothing and household pantry, as well as plastic grocery/shopping bags. Most needed items include canned meat (for emergency food aisle, like chicken, tuna, salmon, or ham), toilet paper, $1 size laundry soap (or any laundry soap), and size 4 and 5 diapers. Drop off your donation anytime, or bring items with you to the event. Every contribution is greatly appreciated! Get more details on Bidwell’s website.

Bidwell Riverside Center is a non-profit committed to helping families become self-sufficient through two primary programs: a Food and Clothing Pantry and a Child Development Center. They envision a future where no one lives in poverty and every person has the opportunity for a positive future.
